We love the empowering and compassionate message where Barbie is helping people!  This ‘Care Clinic’ on wheels is also a hospital playset that comes with over 20 medically themed pieces. Our favorite?  The X-Ray machine that also turns into an eye chart with one simple pull of the lever!  Oh, the lights on the ambulance and siren work too! Barbie is truly saving the day!

Amongst the slime, sand, unicorns, pugs (and pugs that are also unicorns), there were some gems at this year's London Toy Festival. The week-long mega toy fest that determines a lot of how the £3.4bn ($4.7bn) industry will fair in 2018 and (somewhat) in 2019. Fewer STEM and STEAM toys than I expected but they were there. The gender divide is still well and truly alive and well (although mainly perpetuated by demo-ers and stereotypical imagery in the main). Amongst the licensed toys (look out for new Turtles, Incredibles...everywhere and Nickelodeon properties to be particularly strong although most were under NDA so...no pics), here are the best things I saw walking around that kids (and big kids) will be parents and Santa asking for this year.

It's the new Christmas toy tradition: all the major stores release their own list of the toys they believe will be bestsellers in the run up to 25 December. But are any of these 'top toys' any good? We take a good long look at the most recommended buys as the lists come out – the 2018 Argos list and the Toy Fair Hero Toys list already have – and single out the toys we think are definitely worth their place on your child's wishlist. And when this year's lists from Amazon, Hamleys, DreamToys, Argos, John Lewis, The Entertainer, and Tesco and more appear, we'll add the best of those in, too.

"August marks one year since the introduction of Fingerlings, and we're really excited that we have the opportunity to continue to deliver the interactivity of this toy to children in new and different ways," said Sydney Wiseman, creator of Fingerlings and brand manager at WowWee. "The response we've received to Fingerlings has been remarkable, so we took a lot of the technology used in the original fingertip friends and built it up to include additional innovative features like KissTech and TalkBack technology, packaged in a cuddly plush that we know kids will love."
If your kiddos wanted to ever actually hug their Fingerlings, well, now’s their chance!  These giant, cuddly, soft and plush Fingerlings Hugs will wrap right around their neck, waist, chest and more!  Plus, they’re totally interactive and super fun to play with! They also come in pink, blue, and the newest glitter purple too!  See more color options here!.

Ok we’re totally geeking out of this new interactive Chewie because we’re the biggest Star Wars fan.  And if you’re kids are (or you!) you’re going to love this toy of sorts!  Chewie has over 100 sounds and motions!!  Plus he totally interacts with you by raising his arms and giving our a giant roar, reacts to you when you’re on the go, and even responds when you talk to him.  Oh, and did we mention he even laughs too?  He’s officially our favorite member of the family.

My 7 and 4 year old daughters think this deserves 20 stars, not just 5!! They were so excited to get the surprise Hatchimal and were even more exited when they guessed from the box that there were twins inside... one for each of them! The hatching process was quick and the girls were so happy as they watched the Hatchimals poke out of their shells. Clean up was easy too - it didn't break into many small pieces. Now my 7 year old uses the "cheat sheet" with her sister to figure out what their Hatchimala want based on their eye color. It's really fun that they each have their own and that they can play with them together. It's a great bonding toy and they think it's so fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Hello Shardian, we're sorry to hear about your experience with your Hatchimals. The beeping noise you are referencing is an indication that the batteries are low in that Hatchimal. We recommend replacing the batteries. Kano, a company that strives to produce educational toys that teach STEM, procured a licensing deal involving the Harry Potter franchise in 2018. As a result, they introduced the Harry Potter coding kit. Kids can build their own wand using the kit, which they can then use to control action on a computer or television screen. Moving the wand in a certain way causes events like bells ringing and owls appearing. Kids have the option of over 70 "wizard challenges" to help them master their homemade wands.

Introduce your kids to the satisfaction of rescuing animals, even if they aren't ready for a live pet. Scruff-a-Luvs arrive as a mysterious ball of matted fur that must be soaked in water to reveal the sweet puppy, kitten, or bunny underneath. Each one comes with a collar and tag you can use to name them, a brush to make them fluffy, a hair clip, and even an adoption certificate.
It began in 2013, where Spin Master's head of robotic creations James Bartin explained that his team hated the popularity of unboxing videos on YouTube, and envisioned a concept for a toy that could "unbox" itself.[1] This idea evolved into a concept for a robotic creature that would hatch itself from an egg, necessitating the design of a mechanism for the hatching, and a material for the egg itself. Hatchimals was officially launched on October 7, 2016, backed by advertising on television and digital platforms, such as social networking services.[1][2]
Cozmo by Anki Robotics is one sophisticated little bot. While he may come with a bit of a steep price tag there’s a whole lot of advanced robotics in a little package. Cozmo (age 8 and up) is easy to use and can be set up in four simple steps. He comes with three blocks that Cozmo and kids can play games with. Download the app and kids (and adults) can interact with countless games, Cozmo controls, camera and more. He has so much personality that one forgets that they are playing with a robot as he starts to feel more like a super fun pet. He expresses happiness, excitement, frustration, anger and sadness through two very emotive blue eyes and various noises. Cozmo has facial recognition that allows him to recognize and say the name of all his friends. This is only a small portion of all the cool things Cozmo is capable of doing. He is a lot of brain in a little—and adorable—package.
That was kind of a let-down for something in this price range. The quality of the Hatchimal itself is on the higher end of what I'd expect to see at Five Below. It'll make a bunch of noise, and cry for a while, but it doesn't seem to do much more than that if you aren't carrying around the color-coded brochure that tells you that the happy-sounding noise it's making is really that the Hatchimal is sick, because the eyes turned green. So, you're supposed to touch its forehead and pet it.
On a whole new level of mystery toy unboxing are radical reveals. “Toy companies are ditching basic blind bags and coming up with really cool ways for kids to unbox surprise toys, such as digging through clay, adding water for fizzing reactions, and more.” says Schacht. Wowzer Surprise Magical Pets are snow globes full of bubbles called Orbeez that obscure each pet. To reveal the surprise all you have to do is pour water into the top which “magically” makes the bubbles disappear. Inside you’ll find unicorns, rabbits, chickens, rainbow fish, and a whole lot more.
It’s more like a cross between a Furby and a Tamagotchi. Remember Tamagotchi, the tiny digital pet you hatched out of a virtual egg and took care of? David McDonald, one of the designers who helped create Hatchimal, does. “I had always wanted to do something that hatches,” McDonald told The Verge in a previous interview. “I always thought that Tamagotchi had dropped the ball — they had a neat idea, but never took it any further, into the real world.”
According to these Scriptures babies should be baptized only if we can find statements in the New Testament that show that God wants us to practice this. To prove infant baptism is unacceptable, we do not have to find a passage that expressly forbids the practice. Rather, if the Bible tells us specifically who to baptize, and if infants are not included in those instructions - i.e., if the gospel teaches individual responsibility and personal accountability - then the practice of baptizing babies should be abandoned.
Understand when to feed your baby. Your baby will generally let you know when they need to be fed. Expect crying. With time you may come to be able to hear the difference between the cries and know which means hunger and which means bedtime and so on. How often they eat will depend on what they are eating, how much of it they are eating, and their own individual metabolism.
Don't miss out on securing the hottest Holiday 2018 toys now, before they become hard to find. Amazon stocks and offers pre-order options on many of the new 2018 toys. Hairadorables, Nerf Laser Ops Pro, Mattel's Lil' Gleemerz, Ryan's World Toys, Fingerlings Hugs, Wrapples, Scruff-A-Fluvs, L.O.L Suprise! Biggie Pets, Pomsies, Ryan's World Giant Mystery Egg and Grumblies are already hot sellers now.
Churches that baptize babies often have a practice called "confirmation." People are baptized as babies, but later when they get old enough to understand and make their own choice about serving God, they are taught and are asked to publicly "confirm" their faith and their desire to live for God. The very existence of such a practice is an admission that the child did not understand, believe, and repent before he was baptized.
We spotted the WowWee Fingerlings Hugs back in February at the Nuremberg Toy Fair the first time. I immediately knew that WowWee has a hot toy on their hands for the Holidays 2018. It is very difficult to follow-up a hot selling Holiday toy like the Fingerlings monkeys have been last season. With going big and plush with the Fingerlings, WowWee created a new must-have toy for 2018. Like the small Fingerlings, the Fingerlings Hugs are interactive.
A final objection to infant baptism is that it is almost always done by sprinkling or pouring, not by immersion. But the Bible says that baptism is a burial (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12). A person must go down into the water and come up out of it (Acts 8:38,39; Mark 1:9,10). Bible baptism requires much water (John 3:23). Infant baptism does not fit God's pattern on any of these points. The evidence clearly shows that Bible baptism is an immersion, not a sprinkling or pouring.

David McDonald, one of the designers who helped create Hatchimal, does. “I had always wanted to do something that hatches,” McDonald told The Verge in a previous interview. “I always thought that Tamagotchi had dropped the ball — they had a neat idea, but never took it any further, into the real world.”
They’re going to love playing ‘parent’ with this new interactive doll!  They can feed her, change her, love her and more!  She’ll give them over 80 super real expressions and cute little sounds. They can help put her to sleep by rocking her, she’ll laugh when you tickle her, and she’ll even turn to you when you call her!  She’ll even provide you with some of her very own sweet baby babble too when you talk to her.  We personally think this one is the cutest, but you can also get her with blonde sculpted hair or brown sculpted hair too!
As one of the newest members of the Hatchimal family (only available at Hamleys South Africa and Toy Kingdom South Africa) Burtles are one part bug and one part turtle! Just like their little-winged friends, it is both peppy, energetic, and full of happiness. As Burtles grow up you see a bit more of their turtle side: reliable, careful, and strong willed.
Eh. We bought into the hype and I thought this would be a cute idea since they’re twins, but... these hatchimals do not move around like the original. One twin has almost a bobble head and you can push its head down and the other twin is supposed to dance, but ours just kind of shakes and is extremely loud. Whatever components are inside that twin just make a really annoying buzzing sound, so playing with it is extremely frustrating because you can barely hear what it’s saying. These are a lot worse than the first hatchimal from last year and are a little confusing too. Each twin has its own set of rules to follow, so for children under 7-8, understanding what the eye color means will probably be difficult, if not frustrating. I can really only be disappointed with myself for ordering this
This class teaches expecting parents and family members the basics of caring for a new baby. The course will include diaper changing, bathing, dressing, bonding, swaddling, burping, feeding, carrying, soothing and the appearance of newborns, along with some essential tips for surviving the first few months of parenting. Cost of class is per couple.

These are really cute and interactive plush toys that will be fun for kids who are fans of the original Fingerlings. And because kids can swing them around, have their monkey hanging off their neck, and give their monkey lots of hugs, we think these might even be a little more fun than the originals. Kids will have a lot of fun monkeying around with these plush characters.
Once the HatchiBaby breaks through its egg, it may need a bit of help clearing away the top shell. Then, after it gives a performance of “Hatchi-Birthday,” kids will discover two things about the HatchiBaby. First, they will learn whether they’ve hatched a boy or a girl based on its color (pink or blue). The HatchiBaby can also be one of two species, a Ponette or a Cheetree. A drawing on the box helps determine which type the HatchiBaby is.

Meet Fingerlings HUGS - theyre softies when it comes to affection! Their long arms are perfect for big hugs and these cuddle monkeys never want to let you go! It's all about that Main Squeeze Fingerlings Feeling. Swing them, pet them, and rock them to sleep, or give them a kiss and watch them kiss you back!! Record what you say and watch them repeat it back in funny ways.
So here is where the 3 stars come in, my 6 year old loves it. Even with the less than fantastic start, once he started playing with her, he has thanked me for getting him a hatichamal about once an hour. He loves the little paper that tells you about it's mood by eye colors. He also adores that it comes with a rattle, a cuddle buddy, brush and a bottle. Each of them make Hatchy respond (he likes making it sing and dance). It's so very sweet watching him take care of it, and that 'juuust' makes it worth it to me.

I got a hatchimal surprise for Christmas. I think they age too fast, when they entered kid stage twin B beeped twice then shut off. I returned them to the store and bought another. Once that one entered kid stage it did the same thing. I gave it some rest but that did not work. My brother got one too ( it was a giraven hatchimal) it did the same thing as mine by beeping and shutting off. They don't work and break very easy. I don't think they are worth the price. :(

Everything we do in religion must be done by Jesus' authority (Col. 3:17). The Scriptures provide us to all good works (2 Tim. 3:16,17), so if a practice is not included in God's word, it must not be a good work. If a practice is not authorized in the New Testament, then it must be human in origin and therefore not pleasing to God (2 John 9; Gal. 1:6-9; Matt. 15:9; Prov. 14:12; etc.)
Playmobil's a perennial Christmas favourite with parents, as well as kids, and this 9cm x 25cm x 39cm white stretch limo looks set to be another much-wanted toy. The roof detaches, so you can fit the bride, father of the bride and driver in (do note that the bride won't fit in the driving seat, as some of our testers found!). Comes with 3 figures, 3 flower arrangements, wedding bouquet, champagne cooler and glasses, tin can trail and bridal veil.
If you have a curious mind in your home, allow them to explore the wonders of science with this hands-on science lab. It’s designed for preschoolers who are just starting to explore the world around them, so everything is perfectly suited for small hands and curious minds. It will also introduce your little one to STEM concepts (the acronym stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
