A final objection to infant baptism is that it is almost always done by sprinkling or pouring, not by immersion. But the Bible says that baptism is a burial (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12). A person must go down into the water and come up out of it (Acts 8:38,39; Mark 1:9,10). Bible baptism requires much water (John 3:23). Infant baptism does not fit God's pattern on any of these points. The evidence clearly shows that Bible baptism is an immersion, not a sprinkling or pouring.
How cool is this new game!  Connect 4 Shots is similar to the one that we all grew up with, but with a twist! This time you have to bounce the balls into the right slots to try and get four of the same color in a row (or diagonal) to win! This is one that you’ll not only want to play with your kids, but will probably end up taking over and playing with your own friends.  And, well, drinks may be involved.
Some of these toys will make you nostalgic - like the updated version of Polly Pocket and Lego's enchanting Hogwarts Great Hall—both of which would make cool toys for Christmas. Others are updates on modern favorites, like the Hatchimals Mystery toys and Paw Patrol's Ultimate Rescue Fire Truck. The top toys for 2018 have something for everyone, whether your child is interested in STEM or wants a high-tech snuggle buddy.
Introduce your kids to the satisfaction of rescuing animals, even if they aren't ready for a live pet. Scruff-a-Luvs arrive as a mysterious ball of matted fur that must be soaked in water to reveal the sweet puppy, kitten, or bunny underneath. Each one comes with a collar and tag you can use to name them, a brush to make them fluffy, a hair clip, and even an adoption certificate.
Fingerlings Hugs from WowWee have extra-long arms perfect for hugs and cuddling. Kids can also swing them, pet them and rock them to sleep. Give them a kiss and they'll kiss back. The recording feature allows kids to record their own voices then throw the toy in the air to hear a funny remix of what they said. For ages 5 and older. Price: $29.99 at fingerlings.com.
This big playset stands 43 inches tall and features four levels and seven rooms. Kids can check out Splinter's Dojo, Raphael's weight training room, Michaelangelo's arcade, hidden projectile launchers, rotating skateboard ramp, collapsing balcony and more. Action figures are sold separately. For ages 4 and older. Price: $119.99 at playmatestoys.com.
Okay, so there are two parts to this claim. The first includes reports about Hatchimals muttering “fuck me” while snoozing in their eggs. This is stupid. Before the Hatchimal breaks free of its egg, you can sometimes here it snoring loudly in its incubator. It’s a little sigh coupled with a hard “e” sound that, at best, would sound like a bleeped version of the aforementioned vulgar phrase. Some people think it sounds like “hug me.”
This class teaches expecting parents and family members the basics of caring for a new baby. The course will include diaper changing, bathing, dressing, bonding, swaddling, burping, feeding, carrying, soothing and the appearance of newborns, along with some essential tips for surviving the first few months of parenting. Cost of class is per couple.

When it comes to the holidays, every year there are the “it” toys, the ones everyone must have that send parents scrambling in a mad search for the coveted goods. The good news is that word as to what those “it” toys will be starts to spread early, and the earlier you snatch them up, the easier it will be to make all those Christmas dreams come true.

1 Corinthians 12:13,25,26 - Note first that baptism makes people members of Jesus' body, which is the church (Eph. 1:22,23; 5:23). Some people baptize babies, but still do not consider them to be members of the church. God's word says that, when one has been Scripturally baptized, he is automatically in the church. Then all members in the church should care for, suffer with, and rejoice with other members. Can a baby learn to do this? [cf. Heb. 10:22-25]

Every kid on good old planet earth (while it’s still here, at least) goes nuts over the L.O.L Surprise dolls because (1) kids love to take part in an unboxing, (2) they’re collectible, (3) there’s always a fashion-forward doll inside, (4) there’s other doll stuff inside them and no one ever knows what it’ll be and (5) the whole concept is cute AF.  It’s reminding us of the anxiety we’re having over the secrecy around the new Hatchimals Surprise. Now that we’re squared away there, onto what the latest big surprise is.

If you remember the Christmas craze last year for the cute little Fingerlings Monkeys, well Wowwee upped their game and literally just released their new line of Fingerlings called “Untamed Raptors.”  These dinosaur toys are cute and ferocious all at the same time.  They’ll interact with your kid, wrap around their little finger, learn to talk and roar in dino babble and, based on how they’re taken care of will depend what kind of dino personality you get!  This is, for sure, to be one of the hot toy request for Christmas 2018.  Grab them while you can at a normal price.
Eh. We bought into the hype and I thought this would be a cute idea since they’re twins, but... these hatchimals do not move around like the original. One twin has almost a bobble head and you can push its head down and the other twin is supposed to dance, but ours just kind of shakes and is extremely loud. Whatever components are inside that twin just make a really annoying buzzing sound, so playing with it is extremely frustrating because you can barely hear what it’s saying. These are a lot worse than the first hatchimal from last year and are a little confusing too. Each twin has its own set of rules to follow, so for children under 7-8, understanding what the eye color means will probably be difficult, if not frustrating. I can really only be disappointed with myself for ordering this

It's the new Christmas toy tradition: all the major stores release their own list of the toys they believe will be bestsellers in the run up to 25 December. But are any of these 'top toys' any good? We take a good long look at the most recommended buys as the lists come out – the 2018 Argos list and the Toy Fair Hero Toys list already have – and single out the toys we think are definitely worth their place on your child's wishlist. And when this year's lists from Amazon, Hamleys, DreamToys, Argos, John Lewis, The Entertainer, and Tesco and more appear, we'll add the best of those in, too.
They can use the X-Cavator (a tool that's included in the set) to dig up and collect up to 24 Treasure Hunter action figures and up to 32 individual pieces of treasure. Along the way you might find a mysterious treasure chest or the bones and weapons of Treasure Hunters who have come before you. With 10 different levels of adventure, it will keep kids entertained for hours.
Remember how last year Fingerlings were all the rage?  Yes, they were tiny little robot moneys that your kids begged for and you totally thought Santa was going to drop the ball.  Luckily due to supply and demand, he didn’t.  Well this year is expected to be roughly the same.  Wowwee has recently debuted their latest robotic monkey (of sorts) at the New York Toy Fair and, well, we’re kind of already in love.  Introducing Fingerlings Hugs!
Many households do not include babies or even small children. If the Bible does not mention babies, then to claim there were babies in the household would simply be an unproved assumption. The simple fact that households were converted proves nothing by itself. Unless these passages themselves show us that babies were included, then we must settle the issue on the basis of other passages on the subject.
They were obsessed with the movie this year and especially this little guy!  Jack-Jack has a ton of surprises and a ton of fun things you kids can do with him.  First off, he’s funny and when you press him once he’ll laugh and giggle up a storm!  The more you press his belly the more of his super powers he’ll reveal.  The best part is when they press and hold his belly they’ll activate his biggest super powers and he’ll totally light up and all colors, sounds, and lights are activated! Plus, the raccoon he comes with also does some tricks too!

These Hatchimals share a special bond! They play games, laugh and have fun together! While one sings, the other will dance! Put them face-to-face and they’ll recognize each other! One will chirp I love you and the other will respond with I love you, too! Separate them for too long and one twin will call out for the other! After all, twin time is the best time!
While it’s not totally a toy, we had to share this one with you because of how obsessed the kids are with it!  The new Echo Dot for Kids is, well, designed and created just for the kiddos.  They can play games with Alexa, ask her to read them a bedtime story, play their favorite music, and so much more. It’s also one of the hottest tech gifts of the year!  Plus, because it’s for kids they won’t (and can’t) run into any of those awkward situations they could run into with the regular Echo.  This one comes in blue, red, and green! More colors here.

Kids love toys!  Whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah, or a birthday celebration, we’re always searching for ideas – especially for the kid who seems to have everything.  It’s time to put on your Santa hat, and start checking items off your nice (naughty?) list.  To get ready for the gift-giving season, we’ve picked toys that run the gamut.  From toys that sync, to toys that don’t require batteries.  As always, we’ll clue you in on some of the hottest items of the season, but we’ve also chosen toys that aren’t on all the “hot lists.”  Because off the beaten path is nice, and we think old school toys – like pogo sticks, knee hockey, and bikes are cool too!  And let’s face it, sometimes the (stressful) hunt for the “it toy”  just doesn’t work out.  Check out our favorite new releases and, time-honored classics below.
A fun little ‘toy’ for all the tech kids out there who are always on their phones or tablets!  This cute PopSocket has the message ‘Choose Kindness’ on the top with a cartoon-like rainbow.  In a world that could use some gentle reminders, we think this is the friendly thought our kids could see each and every day and hopefully always remember to choose kindness.  There’s also a cute magical unicorn one too!
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.

Playmobil's a perennial Christmas favourite with parents, as well as kids, and this 9cm x 25cm x 39cm white stretch limo looks set to be another much-wanted toy. The roof detaches, so you can fit the bride, father of the bride and driver in (do note that the bride won't fit in the driving seat, as some of our testers found!). Comes with 3 figures, 3 flower arrangements, wedding bouquet, champagne cooler and glasses, tin can trail and bridal veil.
Meet Fingerlings HUGS - they’re softies when it comes to affection! Their long arms are perfect for big hugs and these cuddle monkeys never want to let you go! It's all about that Main Squeeze Fingerlings feeling. Swing them, pet them, and rock them to sleep, or give them a kiss and watch them kiss you back!! Record what you say and watch them repeat it back in funny ways.

"Hatchimals is revealing its BIGGEST surprise yet on Hatchimals Day (Friday, Oct. 5): the arrival of HatchiBabies!" Spin Master shared with POPSUGAR. Although your kids will have to wait until the "due date" to find out what the new species will look like, there is some news the brand is sharing in advance: inside each speckled egg will be either a baby boy or girl, and your child can discover "secret compartments" inside their hatched egg, "adding even more play opportunities."
This 30-cm high soft doll is already much sought-after by preschool-aged fans of the stereotype-busting US TV cartoon show created by Christine Ricci (and shown in the UK on Nick Jr). Your very own justice-fighting princess knight has a rotating head, says 10 phrases and sings the Nella the Princess Knight theme tune when you press her courageous heart. Requires 2 LR44 batteries (included).
Who’s ready to get totally grossed out!?  One of the most anticipated toy/games of the year is Pimple Pete by Dr. Pimple Popper.  Yes, that Dr. Pimple Popper.  Carefully try to pull out the gross pimples but, be careful, because if you pull too hard Pete’s nose will squirt you with water.  Gain points from a variety of difficult tasks and whoever gets the most (without getting squirted) wins!  Gross and fun all at the same time.
I have wanted to get one of these for my niece for a long time, but I've hesitated because the fact is that they don't always work, and when they do, they don't always work correctly. I told her parents that it might not go right, and to explain this to her when we gave it to her. Fortunately she understands that things don't always happen the way we plan, and she can handle some disappointment.
Romans 6:3,4,11-18 - When people are baptized, they come into Christ and should walk in newness of life. They are made alive to God (newness of life), so they must not let sin reign in their bodies, but must use their members as instruments of righteousness. Obeying the gospel makes us free from sin and slaves to righteousness. But babies cannot make such choices and commitments. They should not be baptized until they are able to accept this responsibility from their own hearts.

Experience their magical hatch, then raise and care for your twins! This duo will interact with each other as they play games, talk and tell jokes! One of them can even record and repeat a message! An impressive little unit that is a great introduction to coding and robotics. There is no screen and no tablets or smartphone apps - Botley just works and helps young people understand coding and logic. Program Botley to move forward, turn, detect objects and much more, this is a toy that will keep young minds engaged and charged. Great customization options and tons of accessories to extend play and learning. Money well spent.
That’s right folks, the people that brought you Hatchimals present, LuvaBella, an interactive baby doll that laughs when you tickle her, learns how to say certain words when you feed and play with her and, well, just about has the most life-like reactions and features we’ve ever seen on a doll.  Some say creepy, we say “futuristic.”   These were all the rage last year, but are much easier to get this year.
So much fun for the whole fam.   The players draw cards until someone draws an “Exploding Kitten” (which is when they explode) and they are out of the game, unless that player has a defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches.  It’s really so funny and perfect for ages 7+. Get it here while you can!
Cozmo by Anki Robotics is one sophisticated little bot. While he may come with a bit of a steep price tag there’s a whole lot of advanced robotics in a little package. Cozmo (age 8 and up) is easy to use and can be set up in four simple steps. He comes with three blocks that Cozmo and kids can play games with. Download the app and kids (and adults) can interact with countless games, Cozmo controls, camera and more. He has so much personality that one forgets that they are playing with a robot as he starts to feel more like a super fun pet. He expresses happiness, excitement, frustration, anger and sadness through two very emotive blue eyes and various noises. Cozmo has facial recognition that allows him to recognize and say the name of all his friends. This is only a small portion of all the cool things Cozmo is capable of doing. He is a lot of brain in a little—and adorable—package.

The more you play with these forever babies, the more EGGcited they get! Place the egg on a table and it will really move on its own! When you see rainbow eyes shine through the shell, you’ll know your HatchiBaby is ready to hatch – but they can’t do it without you! Rub the egg to encourage them, and peel back the shell – the secret message inside will reveal if you’ve hatched a hatchiboy or hatchigirl Cheetree! (Don’t forget to fill out the birth certificate!) Deal with thrush. Thrush is an oral yeast infection, usually a result of taking antibiotics. It will appear as whitish patches in and around the mouth or cracks at the corners of the mouth. Prevent thrush by keeping bottles and pacifiers clean. Though it is not a terribly threatening illness, if your child contracts thrush you should talk to your doctor to get the appropriate creams to treat the problem.[11]
But be sure to encourage the grandparents to find this toy. That way, when this interactive toy inevitably comes alive sporadically like my children's other talking toys, farting in darkness, or snoring when no one is around, you won't be the one calling the priest, your mother will. It serves her right for not waiting in 1993 to get you the Crimp and Curl Cabbage Patch Doll that you so desperately wanted, all because she didn't have the fortitude to throw some elbows. This is all hypothetical, by the way. I'm sure my mother tried. (Just not very hard.) She'd totally go bananas on the queue for her grandkids, though, so I'm sure they'll be getting the Fingerlings Hugs. At this point, I kind of want one, too.
Believe it or not, Barbie DreamHouse's are still a thing. This modern version of a classic holiday toy measure 3' tall and over 4' wide so it is massive! Barbie can get up to her bedroom using the elevator or perhaps its time to do work in her home office. Whatever your child imagines Barbie can do we know they'll be playing with this for years to come. And of course, mom and dad will get in on the Barbie fun too.
