If you're planning on giving this to a child for Christmas, you might want to save it for the day after, or do it on Christmas Eve or something. This process takes 30 minutes or so, and you've got so much other stuff happening on Christmas Day that it's going to be difficult get the kid to sit still for it and for you to enjoy watching it happen. The hatching is what they want to see, and if the grandparents and cousins and the rest are all there and the movies are going, nobody is going to see anything.
That’s right folks, the people that brought you Hatchimals present, LuvaBella, an interactive baby doll that laughs when you tickle her, learns how to say certain words when you feed and play with her and, well, just about has the most life-like reactions and features we’ve ever seen on a doll.  Some say creepy, we say “futuristic.”   These were all the rage last year, but are much easier to get this year.
Bought as a Christmas present. My kids loved this as they had been asking for it for awhile now and they loved the time they spent getting it to hatch which really wasn’t to long...maybe 10-15mins is all but I do feel that is long enough for kids, otherwise they loose interest. Once hatched the twins are pretty cute and my girls have enjoyed playing with them!
Amongst the slime, sand, unicorns, pugs (and pugs that are also unicorns), there were some gems at this year's London Toy Festival. The week-long mega toy fest that determines a lot of how the £3.4bn ($4.7bn) industry will fair in 2018 and (somewhat) in 2019. Fewer STEM and STEAM toys than I expected but they were there. The gender divide is still well and truly alive and well (although mainly perpetuated by demo-ers and stereotypical imagery in the main). Amongst the licensed toys (look out for new Turtles, Incredibles...everywhere and Nickelodeon properties to be particularly strong although most were under NDA so...no pics), here are the best things I saw walking around that kids (and big kids) will be parents and Santa asking for this year.

As one of the newest members of the Hatchimal family (only available at Hamleys South Africa and Toy Kingdom South Africa) Burtles are one part bug and one part turtle! Just like their little-winged friends, it is both peppy, energetic, and full of happiness. As Burtles grow up you see a bit more of their turtle side: reliable, careful, and strong willed.
They can use the X-Cavator (a tool that's included in the set) to dig up and collect up to 24 Treasure Hunter action figures and up to 32 individual pieces of treasure. Along the way you might find a mysterious treasure chest or the bones and weapons of Treasure Hunters who have come before you. With 10 different levels of adventure, it will keep kids entertained for hours.

A 600-piece set that builds into a 3-level catamaran, with sun deck and pool, a bridge with steering controls, slide and spiral stairs. Comes with 3 mini-figures, a banana boat, and accessories including an inflatable ring, life belts, flippers, 2 dolphins, ice creams, baskets, a smartphone and an MP3 player. Only drawback: it doesn't actually float on water...

Spin Master was caught off-guard by the unexpected demand; the company originally stated that the toy would appeal primarily to girls aged 6 to 8, but Hatchimals ultimately became popular among boys and older youth audiences as well.[1][2] The company attempted to address the supply issues by having its remaining stock from China delivered via air freight instead of by ship, but stated that there may not be new stock of Hatchimals until 2017. However, Martin added that the company planned to introduce new species and features to the Hatchimals line, and asked customers to be patient. A California mother sued Spin Master for an egg not hatching because the Hatchimal's batteries were dead.[1][2]

Now this is the house of all doll houses! Further, since baptism is essential to salvation, if a baby is a sinner, then its salvation from sin must depend entirely on the actions of others. It must rely entirely on its parents to choose to baptize it. It has no choice in the matter, and cannot possibly influence its own destiny. This contradicts all the scriptures we have quoted showing that salvation is a matter of individual choice (2 Cor. 5:10; etc.).
Kano, a company that strives to produce educational toys that teach STEM, procured a licensing deal involving the Harry Potter franchise in 2018. As a result, they introduced the Harry Potter coding kit. Kids can build their own wand using the kit, which they can then use to control action on a computer or television screen. Moving the wand in a certain way causes events like bells ringing and owls appearing. Kids have the option of over 70 "wizard challenges" to help them master their homemade wands.

When you first unbox your Scruff-a-Luv, they’re curled up in a matted ball of fur. It’s up to you to give them a nice bath to wash their matted fur—any child-friendly soap or body wash will work. Once they are washed, squeeze the water from their fur and towel dry them. You can also use a hair dryer to fluff up their coat, just like a pet salon would! Similar to a real rescue animal, the more love you give them, the more loving they will be in return. Watch as Scruff-a-Luv comes back to life with love and affection!

We can’t wait to bust this guy out of his crate and, well, your kids will too!  They’ll use the crowbar (that comes with it) to pop open that lock and release this little monster from his prison!  He’ll even make over 45 different sounds and when he’s turned upside down, dropped, or knocked over.  When they pull his tongue, he’ll make funny noises, vibrate, and his eyes will glow.  Even better, your kids can record their voice and this creature will play back their message in their own ‘creature voice.’  There are a bunch of different Crate Creatures to choose from too.  See all the options here!
I have wanted to get one of these for my niece for a long time, but I've hesitated because the fact is that they don't always work, and when they do, they don't always work correctly. I told her parents that it might not go right, and to explain this to her when we gave it to her. Fortunately she understands that things don't always happen the way we plan, and she can handle some disappointment.
These magic sets have surely come a long way from the ones we had when we were little!  This one is a magic set and science kit all in one.  It comes with over 27 different tools, ingredients, and parts so your kiddos can learn to make really cool things like dancing holograms, optical illusions, disappearing coins and more! Check out all their different themes here!
Yes your kids (and you) are 100% addicted to all things Fortnite.  Well, here’s a way they can still kind of play, but not on any of their devices.  It’s the new Fortnite Monopoly game!  It’s not really so much about what you own, it’s about if you’ll survive and for how long.  And if you’re looking for fun Fortnite costumes or accessories that double as great gifts, look here!
Know when to change your baby’s diaper. This part won’t be too hard. If your baby’s diaper is filled, change it! If your baby’s diaper is wet, change it! A soiled diaper will smell, so it won’t be hard to tell when it’s time for a change. Wet diapers can be a little more challenging. Set a timer and be sure to at least check their diaper every two hours. If you notice it is wet before then, however, change it then.
If you have a curious mind in your home, allow them to explore the wonders of science with this hands-on science lab. It’s designed for preschoolers who are just starting to explore the world around them, so everything is perfectly suited for small hands and curious minds. It will also introduce your little one to STEM concepts (the acronym stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
All your kids unicorn dreams are coming to life this season!  Yep, this is an actual electric unicorn that your kiddo can sit on and ride around the house (or outside).  This magical wonder goes backwards and forwards by using the reigns and can go up to 3 mph. Plus the unicorn horn lights up.  Awesome!  This is a hot item so feel free to check availability on Amazon here.  And you can learn more about My Lovely Unicorn here.

If they’re not into ride-on unicorns, this is the ride-on animal for them! Meet Scout the Pony!  He makes over 100 unique sounds and motions and is totally interactive (and so cute).  You can feed it, walk it, ride it, and watch it perform a very special dance.  Plus, Scout’s ears, eyes, and head moves.  You can even hear Scout make cute little munching sounds when you feed him.  We just assumed it was a ‘he’ but could totally be a ‘she.’  You decide!  This one is hard to come by and is already the ‘must have’ for this upcoming holiday.  If you’re having a hard time finding it, be sure to check out Amazon too.
We love the empowering and compassionate message where Barbie is helping people!  This ‘Care Clinic’ on wheels is also a hospital playset that comes with over 20 medically themed pieces. Our favorite?  The X-Ray machine that also turns into an eye chart with one simple pull of the lever!  Oh, the lights on the ambulance and siren work too! Barbie is truly saving the day!

It comes with one doll too, but here’s the fun twist—you don’t know which one you get until you pull, twist and pop the popper she’s in to find out who the mystery guest will be. The surprises don’t stop there though, there are also three gifts to unwrap. Who knows where they’ll take this party crowd. Designed for kids ages 4 and up, it’s a fun toy to pull out for parties, playdates and anytime they just want to have some fun.
We always love a ‘toy’ where the kids can actually learn.  Go figure!?  This is one of the latest must-haves of the season and will come with 5 award winning games that allow your kids to transform their iPad into a hands-on learning tool.  It helps with things like math, spelling, and more!  It’s perfect for children between the ages of 5 and 12, but the only thing we don’t love about it is that it’s only compatible with the iPad.  So if you have another brand’s tablet, it’ll be a no-go.

Prepare for spit up. Babies stomach muscles are very weak in the beginning. So weak that sometimes they have a hard time keeping food in there! Don’t worry, this is very normal...it’s just messy. Prepare for spit up by always having rags handy in order to clean up the mess, keeping a bib on your baby when they’re a little bigger, and generally having a rag placed in front of your mouth any time you intend to burp them or move them around soon after eating.

Everything we do in religion must be done by Jesus' authority (Col. 3:17). The Scriptures provide us to all good works (2 Tim. 3:16,17), so if a practice is not included in God's word, it must not be a good work. If a practice is not authorized in the New Testament, then it must be human in origin and therefore not pleasing to God (2 John 9; Gal. 1:6-9; Matt. 15:9; Prov. 14:12; etc.)
Beaker Creatures are a new line of science-themed collectibles from Learning Resources. There are a lot of different things you can do with your Fingerlings Hugs. It has Velcro paws that you can connect for a monkey hug. And when you press your Fingerlings Hugs' mouth to your skin, you'll hear a kiss. Throw the monkey in the air or spin it around for fun reactions. Give it a shake or pat its back for some silly and gross reactions. It will even repeat what you say in a monkey voice when you press and hold its left ear. Hold it upside down and shake it for more funny sounds and press your fingers against its mouth to hear it blow a raspberry. And if your Fingerlings is lying down, you can tickle it, hear it blow you a sleepy kiss, and rock it to sleep.

Who doesn’t love a surprise pet? Hatchimals need kids’ help to emerge from their eggs, but these mystery critters are anxious to meet their new friends! A fun little ‘toy’ for all the tech kids out there who are always on their phones or tablets!  This cute PopSocket has the message ‘Choose Kindness’ on the top with a cartoon-like rainbow.  In a world that could use some gentle reminders, we think this is the friendly thought our kids could see each and every day and hopefully always remember to choose kindness.  There’s also a cute magical unicorn one too!
It also comes with a one-year FreeTime Unlimited subscription, which sets limits, so you don’t have to worry about kids wading into adult waters either. For example, it won’t answer questions such as where babies come from or any other hot topic questions. It tells them to ask an adult instead. It also won’t play songs with naughty words, and it reinforces good manners by thanking them for using words like “please.” There are also parental controls so you can set time limits, see what they’re up to or even pause the device. It comes with a two-year warranty too, so if they somehow break it, you can get a new one at no cost.

Yeah, it’s a neat idea that doesn’t always work. When some eggs failed to properly hatch on Christmas, angry parents swarmed Spin Master’s social media pages to complain; the company has since vowed to boost their customer service to address problems. Other customers said their newly hatched friends straight up died soon after pecking their way in the world. Or they wouldn’t turn on (read: refused to live).

Creativity meets chemistry in this science set from Crayola. It allows kids to conduct 50 super cool scientific experiments at home. From building an exploding volcano to creating glow worms, rubber goo, and colorful quicksand, they will be amazed at the cool things they can create. All the while, they’ll be learning important, hands-on science lessons.
In this case there is no reason to believe that Lydia was even married, let alone that she had little children. The Bible teaches that, if a woman has a husband, he should be the head of the household (Eph. 5:22-25). So whenever the Bible refers to the activity of a household, if the husband is included in that activity, if the wife is mentioned by name then the man is also mentioned. (Notice how the other household conversions demonstrate this. Genealogies also followed this rule.)
