Rub the egg to encourage them, and peel back the shell – the secret message inside will reveal if you’ve hatched a hatchiboy or hatchigirl Cheetree! (Don’t forget to fill out the birth certificate!) As you pull out your HatchiBaby, their big color-changing eyes will tell you how they’re feeling, their beaks will move and they’ll rock back and forth – they come to life! No two eggs are the same, so if you are buying for multiple children they will love mixing and matching the surprises they find inside. Inside the egg there's a variety of kid-friendly surprises including limited edition figures, squishy slime, and a lights and sounds vehicle. The plastic egg is easy for kids to open by themselves, and no assembly is required. Ideal for ages 3 and up.
Know when to change your baby’s diaper. This part won’t be too hard. If your baby’s diaper is filled, change it! If your baby’s diaper is wet, change it! A soiled diaper will smell, so it won’t be hard to tell when it’s time for a change. Wet diapers can be a little more challenging. Set a timer and be sure to at least check their diaper every two hours. If you notice it is wet before then, however, change it then.
This is one of the newest (and best-selling) games so far in 2018.  In fact, it’s one of Kickstarter’s 50 most backed projects of all time.  Pretty impressive.  This super fun/crazy unicorn-based game is for the older kids.  They say 14+, but plenty of parents who’ve reviewed and played feel like 10-12+ was perfectly fine.  Either way, the goal is to build your own unicorn army (mainly by betraying your friends).  Be the first to to build the army of 7 unicorns and win this strategic card game!
Oh boy!  Just what they need…another way to escape!  This drivable Dream Camper can fit two kids, hits a max speed of 5 mph (on both hard surfaces and grass!), has Barbie providing GPS directions, 3 pre-recorded songs, and has a play kitchen in the back of the camper that unfolds to a pretend grill and campfire for the ultimate getaway experience. For real, this one is super cute and they’ll have a blast!
“A lot of toys are already flying off shelves just as quickly as they are appearing.” says Laurie Schacht, chief toy officer of the Toy Insider and The Toy Book. Among her picks are Hairdorables, a series of 36 different blind-box dolls (including two rare and one ultra-rare) that kids can collect and style. Their motto is “Big hair, don’t care” and they come with every shade of unicorn hair you can imagine. When you open each box you can pull, peel, and reveal 11 surprises. So in addition to the doll there are ten fun outfits and accessories.
They’re just like real babies! HatchiBabies need you to feed, burp, cuddle and take care of them. To feed your adorable baby, you can place them in the highchair and put the bottle into their mouth. As your HatchiBaby feeds, its mouth will really move! Rub the rattle accessory on their tummy to get them dancing, or us the hairbrush to style their hair. When it’s naptime, use the cuddle buddy to help rock them to sleep. You can even play fun games like 'bouncy baby.' So cute!
For the first time in Hatchimals history, you can find super-cute accessories hidden inside the egg! Peel-to-reveal a rattle, hairbrush, bottle, cuddle buddy and high chair– everything you need to take care of your baby! As you use each accessory to look after your HatchiBaby, they’ll respond in cute ways. (P.S. different species of HatchiBabies come with different accessories!)
Hatchimals only hatch once – and now they’re hatching in a whole new way! Use your love and care to help them along! Hold, rub and tap the shell of your egg and you’ll hear delightful sound and see glowing eyes! Once the eyes flash rainbow colors, it’s hatching time! Your first Hatchimal twin will push, push, push until it cracks the eggshell! Lift out your first Hatchimal, and reach into the egg to lift out their twin! They’re finally here!
A magical new egg has arrived! Discover new friends, a new hatch and new fun with Hatchimals Surprise! For the first time ever, each speckled egg has two Hatchimals inside! Experience their magical hatch, then raise and care for your twins! This duo will interact with each other as they play games, talk and tell jokes! One of them can even record and repeat a message! Bring home Hatchimals Surprise for double the hatchiness! Who will you hatch?

Furthermore, since God is no respecter of persons, we are not going to find any examples of conversion in which less was required of people than in the examples we have already studied. Some examples may give fewer details, but no one in any household was baptized without faith, repentance, confession, etc. If such a case existed, God would be a respecter of persons.

Dress up clothes and costumes help them to imagine and act out their own stories and roles! Burp your baby.[4] After your baby has eaten, you will want to burp them. They can easily swallow too much air while eating and the bubbles in their stomach will make them cranky and uncomfortable. Lay your baby so that they are slightly over your shoulder and then firmly pat their back. This will help release the air and make your baby very happy.
A 600-piece set that builds into a 3-level catamaran, with sun deck and pool, a bridge with steering controls, slide and spiral stairs. Comes with 3 mini-figures, a banana boat, and accessories including an inflatable ring, life belts, flippers, 2 dolphins, ice creams, baskets, a smartphone and an MP3 player. Believe it or not, Barbie DreamHouse's are still a thing. This modern version of a classic holiday toy measure 3' tall and over 4' wide so it is massive! Barbie can get up to her bedroom using the elevator or perhaps its time to do work in her home office. Whatever your child imagines Barbie can do we know they'll be playing with this for years to come. And of course, mom and dad will get in on the Barbie fun too.
These are the cutest little toy pets ever!  They arrive into your life as a little ball of matted fur, but then your kids will take care of them.  They’ll bathe them, dry them, and then brush them.  Suddenly your little ball of fur will turn into a cute lovable pet. We spotted the WowWee Fingerlings Hugs back in February at the Nuremberg Toy Fair the first time. I immediately knew that WowWee has a hot toy on their hands for the Holidays 2018. It is very difficult to follow-up a hot selling Holiday toy like the Fingerlings monkeys have been last season. With going big and plush with the Fingerlings, WowWee created a new must-have toy for 2018. Like the small Fingerlings, the Fingerlings Hugs are interactive.

Let your baby watch you socialize. Your baby will learn a lot by watching you interact with your friends and other children. Relax while you are around other people, as your baby can pick up on your tension and may feel that other people should be feared. Be friendly and open and smile as you talk with other people. Hug them when it is appropriate. Your baby will learn that this is how we interact with others.

They were obsessed with the movie this year and especially this little guy!  Jack-Jack has a ton of surprises and a ton of fun things you kids can do with him.  First off, he’s funny and when you press him once he’ll laugh and giggle up a storm!  The more you press his belly the more of his super powers he’ll reveal.  The best part is when they press and hold his belly they’ll activate his biggest super powers and he’ll totally light up and all colors, sounds, and lights are activated! Plus, the raccoon he comes with also does some tricks too!

Once the HatchiBaby breaks through its egg, it may need a bit of help clearing away the top shell. Then, after it gives a performance of “Hatchi-Birthday,” kids will discover two things about the HatchiBaby. First, they will learn whether they’ve hatched a boy or a girl based on its color (pink or blue). The HatchiBaby can also be one of two species, a Ponette or a Cheetree. A drawing on the box helps determine which type the HatchiBaby is.
Demand for Hatchimals has been extremely high, which have led to them being designated as the "hottest" toy of the 2016 Christmas shopping season; in late-October 2016, Hatchimals occupied multiple spots on NPD Group's top ten list of best-selling toys in the United States, including first, second, sixth, and ninth place. The firm compared the phenomenon to those surrounding Cabbage Patch Kids and Tickle Me Elmo[1][2]. The New York Times and The Globe and Mail documented the organization of raffles and waiting lists for the toys, and sellers on websites such as Amazon.com and eBay selling Hatchimals at over three times their suggested retail price of US$60, if not higher.[2]

The Safari Learning Station" from LeapFrog grows with children while keeping them entertained through interactive learning. The three-in-one arch adjusts from floor play to standing height. Three different modes allow Giraffe, Lion and Zebra to introduce the ABCs and 123s while playing safari-themed tunes. The light-up piano lets tiny tots discover shapes and colors. Kids are extra engaged when they spin Elephant's bead spinner, twist Chameleon's tail and drop the balls through Monkey's tail to practice motor skills and learn about colors. For ages 6 months and older. Price: $49.99 at leapfrog.com.
Cozmo by Anki Robotics is one sophisticated little bot. While he may come with a bit of a steep price tag there’s a whole lot of advanced robotics in a little package. Cozmo (age 8 and up) is easy to use and can be set up in four simple steps. He comes with three blocks that Cozmo and kids can play games with. Download the app and kids (and adults) can interact with countless games, Cozmo controls, camera and more. He has so much personality that one forgets that they are playing with a robot as he starts to feel more like a super fun pet. He expresses happiness, excitement, frustration, anger and sadness through two very emotive blue eyes and various noises. Cozmo has facial recognition that allows him to recognize and say the name of all his friends. This is only a small portion of all the cool things Cozmo is capable of doing. He is a lot of brain in a little—and adorable—package.
The pressure during the holidays for parents is insurmountable. You don't want to spoil your kids, but at the same time, you do want to see the smile on their faces when they unwrap something and discover one of the hottest toys. Whether you're looking for something the entire family can do together, or already suspect that your little one will want something interactive like WowWee's Fingerlings, we have 51 of the trendiest toys for the gift-giving season.
Ok so Pomsies is actually pretty cute.  These little balls of fluff (we think it might be an electronic cat, but we can’t be 100% certain) can latch on to your wrist, arm, backpacks and more!  Plus they’re totally interactive, have 50 different reactions, and love it when you pet them and take care of them.  There are 4 different Pomsies to choose from in a variety of different colors.  Learn more here.
It’s more like a cross between a Furby and a Tamagotchi. Remember Tamagotchi, the tiny digital pet you hatched out of a virtual egg and took care of? David McDonald, one of the designers who helped create Hatchimal, does. “I had always wanted to do something that hatches,” McDonald told The Verge in a previous interview. “I always thought that Tamagotchi had dropped the ball — they had a neat idea, but never took it any further, into the real world.”
We always love a ‘toy’ where the kids can actually learn.  Go figure!?  This is one of the latest must-haves of the season and will come with 5 award winning games that allow your kids to transform their iPad into a hands-on learning tool.  It helps with things like math, spelling, and more!  It’s perfect for children between the ages of 5 and 12, but the only thing we don’t love about it is that it’s only compatible with the iPad.  So if you have another brand’s tablet, it’ll be a no-go.
One of last year's hottest toys is back with a new version—a unicorn! The Fingerling monkeys have been a runaway hit, so little ones will flip at the chance to add a unicorn to their collection of these cute little finger-hugging pets. Her name is Gigi, and she’s fancy, with a rainbow mane and tail, and she’s full of surprises. She responds to noise, motion, and touch, and she’ll do everything from blowing you a kiss to turning her head. Turn her upside down for even more antics. When downtime comes around, you can pet her to sleep. Parents say Gigi is adorable and kids go gaga for her. Bonus: The batteries she runs on are included.
This game is seriously a riot!  You gotta see it, for real.  All you have to do is add your favorite foods (think fruit, marshmallows, etc) to each fork and then place the hat on your head, turn it on, and when the music starts the snacks spin and you have to eat as many and as much as you can before the music stops.  This is the game this year that will make almost any family famous on Instagram!
Yeah, it’s a neat idea that doesn’t always work. When some eggs failed to properly hatch on Christmas, angry parents swarmed Spin Master’s social media pages to complain; the company has since vowed to boost their customer service to address problems. Other customers said their newly hatched friends straight up died soon after pecking their way in the world. Or they wouldn’t turn on (read: refused to live).

"Based on the overwhelming response to Fingerlings, plush was the obvious next step for the brand to really stay true to our core messages - friendship that goes where you go - while also showcasing the breadth of our technological innovation," Sydney Wiseman, the brand manager at WowWee, told INSIDER. "And who doesn't love a hug? Now, Fingerlings Hugs hold on as you go on adventures together."

Last year, we scoured the aisles of every local toy fair to get the scoop on which toys would likely sell out fast during Christmas and the holidays, driving parents on crazy last-minute hunts for sparkly eggs, squishy fake food, and tiny interactive baby monkeys. This year, looking for an even deeper level of insider information, we reached out to trend experts for their opinions on what toys would top the charts of holiday season 2018 (hint: Hatchimals are still very hot).

If your family has jumped onto the Pie Face bandwagon—why not try this alternate version that leaves the last person standing a winner. Even newbies will enjoy this messy good time that will have all family members pushing the button one at a time to see who gets creamed. As you take turns trying to accumulate points, you never when the pie-throwing arm will go off, and when it does… splat! The whipped cream flies right into the face of the player who’s in the ‘hot seat’. Don’t worry, there’s a splash guard mask to keep things from getting too wild, but oh what fun it is to see the whipped cream (sold separately) fly. For parents cringing at the thought of all that mess, there's also a sponge that can be used in place of whipped cream.

Every kid on good old planet earth (while it’s still here, at least) goes nuts over the L.O.L Surprise dolls because (1) kids love to take part in an unboxing, (2) they’re collectible, (3) there’s always a fashion-forward doll inside, (4) there’s other doll stuff inside them and no one ever knows what it’ll be and (5) the whole concept is cute AF.  It’s reminding us of the anxiety we’re having over the secrecy around the new Hatchimals Surprise. Now that we’re squared away there, onto what the latest big surprise is.
It's the new Christmas toy tradition: all the major stores release their own list of the toys they believe will be bestsellers in the run up to 25 December. But are any of these 'top toys' any good? We take a good long look at the most recommended buys as the lists come out – the 2018 Argos list and the Toy Fair Hero Toys list already have – and single out the toys we think are definitely worth their place on your child's wishlist. And when this year's lists from Amazon, Hamleys, DreamToys, Argos, John Lewis, The Entertainer, and Tesco and more appear, we'll add the best of those in, too.
